Darren Chien ("Steady Together", "we", "our", or "us") provides a mobile application that helps families support simple daily movement habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Steady Together app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.

1. What Steady Together Does

Steady Together is a general wellness app designed to support short daily movement sessions, reminders, and supportive family encouragement.

Steady Together is not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or physical therapist.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the app, and limited technical information needed to operate the Services.

Information you provide directly

  • Account information, such as name, email address, and login credentials
  • Parent profile details, such as first name, age range, goals, activity level, wobbliness or recent fall scare information, and smartphone comfort level
  • Personal notes and encouragement messages sent through the app
  • Invite details, including email address or phone number if you choose to enter them
  • Reminder preferences, including preferred reminder time and time zone
  • Support requests or messages you send to us

Information generated through app use

  • Session assignments and scheduled movement plans
  • Session completions and progress history
  • Reminder status
  • Subscription status and trial status
  • Basic analytics or event data about how major app flows are used

Information from third-party services

  • Authentication and account-session data from Supabase
  • Subscription and entitlement data from RevenueCat
  • If enabled in the future, message-delivery metadata from Twilio or Resend

3. How We Use Information

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users and keep sessions secure
  • Save parent profiles, reminders, messages, sessions, and progress
  • Personalize starting movement tracks and ongoing session planning
  • Enable family invitations and supportive messaging
  • Process subscriptions, free trials, and purchase restoration
  • Improve product reliability, usability, and safety
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Within the invited family relationship as needed to provide the product
  • With service providers that help us operate the Services, such as Supabase and RevenueCat
  • If required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request
  • To protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, our business, or others
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

We do not share minute-by-minute monitoring data because the product is not designed as a surveillance tool.

5. Third-Party Services

Steady Together may use the following service providers:

  • Supabase for authentication, database, and storage
  • RevenueCat for subscriptions and purchase state
  • Twilio for SMS delivery if automated SMS invites are enabled
  • Resend for email delivery if automated email invites or summaries are enabled
  • Analytics providers if product analytics are enabled

6. App Privacy and Device Permissions

The app may request access to notifications to send reminder notifications for daily sessions.

If you deny notification access, core app functionality can still work, but reminders may be limited or unavailable.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

We may retain limited backup or log information for a reasonable period after account deletion where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operational continuity.

8. Account Deletion and Data Requests

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the support email listed below.

If the app includes an in-app account deletion flow, you may also use that flow directly.

Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and operational reasons.

9. Children's Privacy

Steady Together is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. International Users

If you use the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
